INFRARED SAUNA

What to expect from your session?

During the session, which lasts 20 to 30 minutes, clients relax inside the sauna as it uses infrared light to directly heat the body, promoting intense sweating and toxin release. Clients can adjust the temperature for comfort.

After the session, it's crucial to cool down gradually, rehydrate by drinking water, and optionally, take a gentle shower to refresh and further aid in relaxation.

  • Metal implants close to the surface – caution if sensitive to heat (most modern implants are safe).

Conditional contraindications:

  • Unstable coronary artery disease – increased risk of angina or heart attack.

  • Severe hypotension – infrared sauna causes vasodilation, worsening low blood pressure.

  • Chronic respiratory disease – Advanced COPD or other respiratory problems can be aggravated by heat stress.

  • Epilepsy – overheating can lower the seizure threshold.

  • Pregnancy – increased core temperature can affect fetal development, especially in the first trimester.

Drug contraindications:

  • Diuretics, antihypertensives – risk of dehydration or hypotension.

  • Beta-blockers – reduce the heart's ability to respond to heat stress.

  • Drugs that affect sweating (e.g. anticholinergics) – reduce the body's ability to cool.

Precautions for certain populations:

  • Pregnant women – avoid use, especially in the first trimester.

  • Children – use very cautiously; temperature control is weaker.

  • Elderly – increased risk of dehydration and hypotension, requires monitoring.

  • People with impaired thermoregulation – for example, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson's disease.
